When I started in Year 8 in 2017, I was one of only two pupils to come from my primary school and naturally, I was very nervous and anxious, however, I need not have worried.  All the staff and older pupils helped me to settle into the Ashfield community and I am very proud to be an Ashfield Boy.  Currently, I am studying Engineering, Geography and Mathematics.  I have been an active member of our school band, playing almost all the school events but I am very excited to undertake a new role, as Head Boy.  

I am also extremely grateful to have the opportunity to lead the pupil leadership team and our Student Council.  We will continue to work together to develop ideas that will benefit the school, and more importantly every pupil. Everyone at Ashfield, no matter what year group, has the opportunity to get involved and all ideas and suggestions will be welcomed and valued to further progress to our thriving and friendly school environment.”
