Over the course of KS3, the boys study a range of topics in the following four areas. The aim is to consolidate and build on skills and knowledge from Primary School and prepare the boys for their GCSE studies:

Key Stage 4 - CCEA Revised GCSE Mathematics

The follow GCSE course covers Years 11 &. 12.

Foundation Tier modules:

Some students will follow the GCSE Further Mathematics Course (CCEA)

  • UNIT 1 - Pure Mathematics

  • UNIT 2 - Mechanics

  • UNIT 3 - Statistics

Key Stage 5 - CCEA Revised A-Level Mathematics

Year 13 (40% of A-Level)

  • AS 1 - Pure Mathematics

  • AS 2 - Applied (Mechanics & Statistics)

  • A2 1 - Pure Mathematics

  • A2 2 - Applied (Mechanics & Statistics)

Year 14 (60% of A-Level)
